Dr. Powers established Rocky Creek Vet in 2010 with the hope of providing a more comprehensive, locally owned veterinary practice. One which strives to make every pet owner feel as though they are part of the family.
With experienced veterinarians, dedicated to the treatment of small animals, it is our mission to provide compassionate, individualized care, treating patients in a fear free environment and helping pets live a happy and healthy life.
What makes RCVH different?
By offering veterinary services, day camp, boarding, and grooming all at one location, we've found our patients get used to the hospital and our staff, making a trip to the vet more familiar, less stressful, and, often times, enjoyable.
We offer 30-minute appointments with both Dr. Powers and Dr. Hayes, to provide consistency and a chance for us to truly learn about you and your pet.
We've invested in modern technology, including digital x-ray, Ultrasound, and therapeutic laser, providing for quicker diagnostics and reducing the need for specialty referrals.
We are happy to hear pet parents say, "my dog/cat loves coming to Rocky Creek"; this means we are accomplishing our fear free goal.
What makes RCVH logo special?
Denny Crane Powers, discovered doggie day camp as a pup, when he moved to Greenville in 2007. He inspired Dr. Powers to open RCVH, so day campers would love coming to the vet! He was a legendary pizza stealer and swimmer.
